Alice Su and Joshua Chu, two budding designers from Hong Kong, are combining their unique visual senses to create exceptional designs. The name acacia [a.kay.shia] draws its inspiration from the first ‘studio space’ they worked in together, which really was a lounge area at the UCLA, situated in the city of Los Angeles where the two first met. According to the Holy Bible, God chose acacia wood as the material for His unique design of the Ark of the Covenant that signifies His presence among His people. The founders of acacia creatives intend to mirror the creativity of the greatest Designer in history.
A graduate of UCLA with a major in Design|Media Arts, Joshua has worked for Sony Pictures Television International (USA), Gas Station Zebra (USA), Hwang Concepts (HK), Yang Rutherford (HK) and Crystal Computer Graphics Ltd (HK) in a rich variety of roles, from Designer to Video Editor to Project Manager.
Professionally trained as a graphic designer at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, Alice is now passionately pursuing her career as a Wedding Planner and Designer.
